Classical Acupuncture is all about energy balance and health optimization. Some keys to what you can do are related to intake and movement.

INTAKE

Your energy system, "Qi", requires an intake of energy producers to be able to function optimally. This begins with the basics: nutrition, hydration, and oxygenation.

Hydration is more than drinking water. It involves both water and the absorption of water. To properly absorb water requires mineralization. Therefore, we recommend and take, personally, Intramax.

Oxygenation comes from breathing properly. To breathe properly, we recommend regular exercise and energetic practice such as Tai Chi or Yoga.

Nutrition varies depending on your unique body composition and health levels. There is no "one size fits all" when it comes to nutrition. The formulas we hear from the media and on TV ads are mostly gimmicks which change often. Nutrition is very personal. We make specific dietary and supplement recommendations based on the relative health and balance of your meridian system. For example, you might be a water type and need kidney and adrenal support. We will suggest an adrenal reset diet along with supplements and herbs that help you with both your energy levels and sleep. To order your supplements

MOVEMENT

Energy is for life and life requires movement activity. Movement is broken down into three areas, cardio, resistance, and flexibility. Cardio is all about increasing heart rate for a sustained period and adequate recovery. It can be as simple as walking or as intense as swimming or running. Resistance is about utilizing your muscles against a load or amount of weight that activates the muscles to tear down and rebuild stronger. Flexibility is about muscle elasticity which involves stretching. Yoga, Tai Chi, Chi Gong and other practices involve flexibility combined with breathing.
